Opportunity

We are always interested in recruiting bright, talented, and curious researchers. Graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows excited by our research should directly contact Dr. Anil Bhushan through Jimmy Chen (Jimmy.Chen@ucsf.edu)

Postdoctoral Applicants

Positions are available for interested Postdoctoral fellow in the Laboratory of Anil Bhushan at University of San Francisco, San Francisco to investigate the molecular mechanisms of diabetes. The research in the laboratory focuses on the epigenetic mechanism in beta cell biology and translational research in developing therapies for diabetes.

Applicants should have a Ph.D and/or M.D. with a strong background in basic molecular biology. Ability to analyze sequencing data using bioinformatics is plus. Publication of first-author paper in cell and molecular biology journals is a prerequisite for postdoctoral applicants. The collegiality and interdepartmental organization at UCSF fosters interdisciplinary research and provides for broad training.
